Offline Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Offline salesperson to play a pivotal role in introducing and onboarding online sellers for our platform from all fields. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential vendors, introducing our marketplace, and guiding them through the onboarding process.

You would mainly take ownership of the following tasks:

  1. Identify, target, and approach potential online sellers within Nigeria to expand the marketplace’s seller base.
  2. Initiate contact with prospective sellers through various communication channels, including emails, calls, and social media, to introduce the benefits of joining our platform.
  3. Lead the onboarding process for new sellers, guiding them through registration, product listing, pricing strategies, and order management.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as the online sales team and customer support, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for sellers.
  5. Provide personalized assistance to sellers, addressing their inquiries, and concerns, and providing solutions to enhance their success on the platform.
  6. Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and seminars to promote the platform and establish strong industry relationships.

Qualifications & Competence:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the e-commerce or online marketplace industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to convince potential sellers to join the platform.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
