Shopnest Systems OÜ (registry code 17569537), Tallinn, Estonia ("Shopnest", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites. This policy explains what we set, why, and how you control it. It applies to shopnest.africa and every Shopnest site under it — shops.shopnest.africa, business.shopnest.africa and admin.shopnest.africa. Our rider app at ridenest.africa is a separate website with its own settings; it sets no analytics or advertising cookies at all. Last updated: 7 August 2026. HOW TO CHANGE YOUR MIND, AT ANY TIME The first time you visit, a banner asks you to choose. Nothing optional is switched on before you answer. To change your answer later, open the Cookie Consent Manager: - on shopnest.africa, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or the small cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page; - on shops.shopnest.africa and business.shopnest.africa, use the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page. You can turn things off exactly as easily as you turned them on. Refusing is a single click on "Reject all", and the site works completely normally afterwards. Closing the banner without choosing counts as refusing. We ask again every 180 days, and again if we publish a materially updated version of this policy. ONE CHOICE COVERS THE WHOLE SITE Your choice is stored in a cookie on .shopnest.africa, so it applies across our main site, storefronts, the business dashboard and the admin area. Choose once and you will not be asked again as you move between them. Because ridenest.africa is a different website, a choice made here does not carry over to it. It has nothing optional to carry. WHAT WE USE, AND WHAT YOU CAN SWITCH OFF 1. STRICTLY NECESSARY — always on, no choice offered These make the site work. Without them you cannot sign in or stay signed in, and we cannot keep your account secure. MARKETING — off unless you turn it on Google Ads conversion measurement, provided by Google. Set only on the business dashboard, and only if you turn Marketing on. WHO ELSE RECEIVES DATA Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, as our analytics and advertising measurement provider. This may involve transferring data outside Nigeria and the EEA, under the safeguards Google applies as a data processor. Google's own privacy information is at policies.google.com/privacy. We use no other advertising networks, no social media pixels and no data brokers. There is no Meta pixel and no TikTok pixel on our sites. One thing we want to be straight about: when you refuse, we do not store analytics or advertising cookies on your device — but Google's tag may still send a basic, cookieless signal (for example, that a page was viewed) with no identifier attached to it. This is how Google's consent controls work and it is the same on every site that uses them. It does not build an advertising profile of you, and no identifier is kept on your device. BROWSER CONTROLS You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies entirely. Doing so may stop parts of the site from working — for example, staying signed in. Clearing your cookies also clears your choice here, so we will ask again on your next visit. YOUR RIGHTS Where cookies involve personal data, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the NDPC General Application and Implementation Directive 2025 give you rights over that data, including access, correction, deletion and withdrawal of consent. Our Privacy Notice explains those rights and how to use them. Withdrawing cookie consent is immediate and free, using the Cookie Consent Manager described above. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY If we add a new cookie or a new provider, we will update this policy and, where the change is material, ask for your choice again.
